Tomato Tommy Toe Heirloom has been regarded as the best tasting heirloom variety. With its sweet taste, masses of brilliant apricot sized fruits and disease resistance it makes an almost perfect cherry tomato. This variety does require staking for the best results. Excellent source of Vitamin C, A and E, potassium, fibre and antioxidants.
From the golden days of gardening, heirloom seeds have been saved and treasured through the generations.
Sow in seed trays or direct where they are to grow, 6mm deep. Prepare soil well by adding organic material and fertiliser and keep soil moist. Water daily and when the first truss has set, feed regularly. Pinch out the side shoots as they appear. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. Sow in spring to summer.
